91 Freeway Closure in Corona This Weekend

Eastbound Lanes Closed from Main Street

Beginning Friday, August 17th, all eastbound lanes of the 91 Freeway in Corona will be closed from Main Street to Lincoln Avenue. The closure is expected to last through Saturday, August 18th.

Westbound Lanes Closed from I-15 to Lincoln Avenue

Also beginning Friday, August 17th, all westbound lanes of the 91 Freeway in Corona will be closed from Interstate 15 to Lincoln Avenue. This closure is expected to last through Monday morning, August 20th.

Detours in Place

Detours will be in place for both eastbound and westbound traffic. Eastbound traffic will be detoured onto the 71 Freeway, while westbound traffic will be detoured onto surface streets.

Reason for Closure

The closures are necessary for the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) to perform maintenance and repair work on the freeway.
